Like the Terpene Tonics for humans, Dog-Soothe combines a carefully selected blend of terpenes with Australian grown hemp seed oil. The terpenes in Dog-Soothe have been selected for their analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Terpenes are botanical aromatic compounds, giving plants and flowers their distinctive smells. They help to ward off insects, fungus and diseases, or attract pollinators. Basically, you can think of terpenes as the plant’s immune system. The main terpene in Dog-Soothe is Beta-Caryohphyllene (BCP), which is similar in structure to Cannabidiol (CBD), the most abundant terpene in the low-THC hemp plant.
